Hello, great editor! but i noticed now i'm getting a "Speicfied file not found" on the Font size, font style, font heading drop downs. I looked at the code and even moved the file it's pointing too to the main root folder but i still keep getting the error. I even downloaded the latest version? any ideas?thanks in advance!

Yes, i found it, but it still seems to fail. I can see it's the RTE_iframe_select_font.asp,RTE_iframe_select_format.asp,RTE_iframe_select_size.asp files that it is trying to call. Strange because the color pallet file comes in. it's just those three that are not working. Even when i've reloaded the whole program? Thanks for replying. Smile

Was there any resolution to this?

I'm not sure if its connected to my problem but I am getting a javascript error on the form page.

Everytime i try to use the font, format, size drop downs it gives me a "permission denied" javascript error. everything else works just those three buttons

Ok I found the solution/problem for me. My website uses frames well the page "form.asp" is in the frame and when i try to click the format, font, size, color to i noticed. it would give me that error.. but when outside of the frame worked fine.

I am gonna look for a solution but just FYI for Web Wiz they might wanna look into it as well. not sure how many website out there uses frames but it might need to be considered.

Your issue is to do with browser security to prevent JavaScript writing to other websites and frames.

The only way to work is not to use frames.

based on your response i'm not sure if you saying its a browser problem or if its a security measure of the program to prevent such.

is there any work around other then no frames??

This is to do with browser security, not something built into the RTE software.

You may be able to get it to work by lowering the security settings in your browser, but then you would not want all your users forced to do this.
