Hi All,
 
I downloaded both mysql version of code.
 
 I installed mysql5, mysql admin tool and created schema called webwizforums by using this information:
 Database: localhost, user:varushar; password: guessit
 
I updated the database_connection.asp and set the following values:
 
strSQLServerName = "localhost" 
strSQLDBUserName = "varushar"
strSQLDBPassword = "guessit"
strSQLDBName = "webwizforums"
 
When I accessed page: http://localhost/Forum/mySQL_server_setup.asp and entered username/password i am getting following error:
 
Detailed Error Message:
[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified

Error Details:
[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Server Error in Forum Application
An error has occurred while connecting to the database.
Please contact the forum administrator.

Support Error Code:- err_mySQL_db_connection
File Name:- common.asp

Error details:-
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers
[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified

You need to also install the myODBC 3.51 driver on the server. It's available from the mySQL website as a suppurate download.

The newer myODBC 5.1 driver is also supported, but you will need to enable support for this in the database/database_connection.asp file by uncommenting the line below:-

'strMyODBCDriver = "5.1"
