Hi, i have a webwiz 8.x forum with access database and i want to upgrade my forum to the latest version with mysql database.
 
Is it possible to convert database "access 8" to "mysql 9.56" ??

I updated my forum to access v9,56 with no problem. I guess i'm going to use access again, if there is no solution to convert mysql..

you do not have to upgrade to mysql, you can upgrade to mssql. they both have good performance.

Then access to mssql converting is possible, right?

yes, possible and easy.

-first download mssql enterprise manager (you can find it on the net easily)
-before the conversion repair your access database. you can make this at msaccess.
-open enterprise manager and  create an empity database on your site
-specify database language to your language (if you are using a language contains not latin characters, you must do this step, else you can get character errors)
-select transformation wizard on enterprise manager

wizard will  show you the steps that you must follow.
-on first step select your access file
-at second step log in your new mssql database info to target area
-select the tables you wanna move (all table ofcourse)

and start the process.

 you can make  a search at forum for details.
