The error details suggest you did not set, or incorrectly set the connection paramaters for your database.
Go to the database_connection.asp file and make sure you typed the connection patrameters correctly.

Are you doing a fresh install, or are you upgrading an existing one?
Either way, after uploading the "forum" directory to your website, go to: your-domain.com/forum
The wizard will come up and walk you through installing a new forum or upgrading an existing one.

As far as I know no no, I proceed to the last version but I would first make sure that I have no data loss as messages / members / topics etc.. Can you maybe make a screenshot of how you do it in your helmet control panel attached to the file you said?

I'm not sure why this should be happening slytherin. Please contact support and request that they upgrade your forum to the latest stable version. Your dutch language files need to be backed up first though as web wiz forums run an english language file set, otherwise any changes will be lost on the upgrade I will be in touch soon - MrTWS

I sure would like to start by establishing that no registrations topics and messages disappear and that I should start again with me forum because I am not happy. Can a person who does this tell me?
