Hi! It seems that the RSS feed dont show up in IE8 - and there is a wrong date.

In Firefox it works OK but there is a lot of wrong characters

Anyone have any clues for these two problems?

Your web pages are set to iso-8859-1 encoding and your RSS Feeds are set to UTF-8.

You would need to edit the includes/setup_options_inc.asp file and change the RSS Feed encoding to iso-8859-1

I had a look at your web pages and you have set them to  iso-8859-1. RSS Feeds use XMl so prefer UTF-8.

If you change your page encoding to UTF-8 you may have more luck, but you would need to resave everything in the UTF-8 encoding.

OK

I changed both setup_options and browser_encoding to utf-8

Now I get funny text in both news bulletin AND RSS

If you do not resave the data you have submitted then it will be saved under the old page encoding meaning that it won't know how to show some characters that are saved under the old encoding.

The problem is that RSS Feeds use XML which like UTF-8. The problem with UTF-8 is that it doesn't like all character sets.

This means that when using RSS Feeds on non English websites that you do tend to get these types of issues which are extremely hard to work around, and you may not find a solution to this except disabling the RRS Feeds.
