Web Wiz Forums 9.64 Released - Event Date: 20 November 2009

Web Wiz have today released version 9.64 of our popular Web Wiz Forums bulletin board software that adds a number of bug fixes, improvements, and new features.

New features include a Search by IP Address for Posts available to Admins and Moderators to locate Posts that have been made under a particular IP Address. This is useful for locating members that may be posting under multiple accounts to course flame wars or other problems within forums.

The Bad Word Filter has also had an update and now allows Regular Expressions to be used in the Bad Word Filter. This allows much more powerful and accurate search criteria to be used for locating Bad Words or any other content that you may require replacing from within posts.

A number of bugs that have been reported in our Support Forums have also been addressed and fixed, including those that have come about as the result of the large 9.62 Security Update which saw the biggest security update to Web Wiz Forums in the last 5 years to prevent XCSRF and XSS vulnerabilities.
