I downloaded and donated for this great piece of software. I customized and installed it about 8 months ago.

Now, version 7 is out and it doesn't run on my database. I already have 100's of members and over 5000 messages.

What are the DB changed from the old version to this new version 7?

There are many of them, if you look through the version history file they are listed in there.

If you are using an access version you can use the migration tool found on the forum download page to import your data into the new database from the old one.

NO I do not use access I use SQL Server.

Soo.. What do I do with all the thousands of threads? Thousands of users ? I don't even know what version I have.

I looked through the Version history file and got a headache

Also, what about the user's password? Now everything is hashed.. So how would it work with their old passwords ?

Can someone elaborate please

Does every version means you through everything before out of the window? All the users, the threads and messages?

HELP Please.

Have a search through the forums, there are upgarde scripts available that people have written.
