	Dear friends, I plan to make a chat application like MSN and Yahoo. For that I want to know, which software is good to make a chat application like MSN and Yahoo? anyone help me ASAP.. Thanks, Francis

	Yikes. If you have to ask that, you aren't ready to create a chat application. What you are looking for more than just "software". You want an IDE (at a high level) or a compiler. There are lots out there of both. You're also going to have to know a great deal about networking protocols. You can create HTTP based chats with ASP (search for some on google or check out aspin.com) but both MSN and Yahoo are client/server based applications. For that you're going to need a compiled language like C, although I suppose you could do it in Perl.
