This is really weird, I didn't have this problem with version 6.**. I'm on a Brinkster account and after I installed the forum v7, it keeps telling me that my account exceeded its bandwidth limit! I checked it in my brinkster bandwidth statistics and it really shows that the limit was exceeded! When I thought that maybe I'm getting a lot of traffic I went to check my website hit count statistics and saw that the hits are 30% less than normal! What the hell??

I don't have any big files for download in my site, so I think the problem is with the new forum. Could it be that something is wrong with it and it eats out bandwidth for some reason?

There are more graphics on version 7 so it will use more bandwidth.

But I have found that those sites using allot of bandwidth with the forum have set it up so that it shows 100's of topic subjects or 100's of posts on one page.

To cut down on the amount of bandwidth used only show 10 to 15 topic subjects per page in the forum. Also more importently only show 8 to 12 posts per page, if you try showing 50 posts on one page then each time that topic is looked at it sucks allot of bandwidth showing all the posts on one large page, and many people won't read all the posts anyway.

That's a neat trick but be aware that if you ever get caught i'm sure they'll delete your accounts without notice......

Damn... I thought that you could configure the default forum images folder, but I can't find it anywhere... Just don't tell me that I have to change every page with images
