When I look at the home page of the forum, at the bottom it shows the last posts, and unread ones are in bold type, plus the arrowhead is yellow.
So click on the arrowhead and go to the latest post.
When going back to the home page it used to refresh, so the post I had just visited showed as read. Now it doesn't.
Is this a Firefox change, looked around the Firfox help forums and can't find a reference, but some say the cache is sometimes built into the webpage. So I'm confused.
Brian.

If you are using the back button then it is likely that Firefox is using the cache of the page rather than reloading the page.

If you refresh the page does it show correctly?

Yes, the refresh button does then show the updated page.

It is Firefox, must have been an update, another forum user has the same problem using FF. Those using other browsers have no problem.
Now to find out how to cure it.
