Add a Split Topic option for administrators and moderators. Very often you see someone make a post with a lot of replies and on occasion you see the post stray off topic. When something like that occurs the administrator or the moderator can use the Split Topic option. The administrator or moderator will be able to choose the new subject for the topic and move it into any forum.

You can do this already, using the move icon  at the bottom of the post if logged in as a moderator or an admin.

Trevni's idea gave me this one... Allow thread merges. The move post thing kinda does this, but could you add in a quick button?

I think the move button is as quick as it can get, to merge two topics you're still gonna need to go thru the same pop up and stuff as to move it, otherwise the forum wont know which topic to merge it with
