XML files with XSL style sheets wont..

XML files with refrence to XSL style sheet arent displaying properly in my browser... they r just displayed as plain XML file regardless of formatting defined in XSL style sheet.. this never happened earlier tho.. this is obviously a problem with the browser and not with XSL linking.. what could be the possible solution to fix the browser.. im using IE 6.0 SP1.........
