ASP will not work in IE with PWS

Can anyone else run ASP pages locally with the basic MS Personal Web Server with no IIS and no Server 2003?  I cannot do it. I have tried everythig, in fact my last post had serveral promising suggestions and none of them worked. I have never had a problem like this before.  When trying to open ASP pages locally IE treats it as a download. I have no problem opening ASP pages like this one, from other servers online. Y? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

GOOD NEWS!! I FIGURED IT OUT ON MY OWN! YAHOO!  I knew it would be something so incredibly STUPID that now I am hitting myself over and over again. Now, please do not confise me with an amature computer programmer but we all know its always the stupid thing.  I found out that despite the fact that my PWS said Microsoft Personal Web Server all over it, it was only the frontpage web server. I installed MS PWS though my add remove, but found out that that does not install the PWS you have to click the stupid website that it installed and run it through the run command on the start menu. Why? Now I am in a whole new world. Thanks everyone.
