I have two seperate forums running on two sites. Both have worked fine. Just come back from a weeks holiday and I now find that one of the forums wont let me in, showing the error,
Microsoft JET Database Engine error '80004005'
Operation must use an updateable query.

When I try to read a post it gives me the error,

/forum/forum_posts.asp, line 321
The other forum works fine and as both database reside in the same directory the read write permissons must be ok, yes?
I've tried downloading, compacting and repairing the database without any luck and also tried uploading the orginal mdb.
any clues?
