I think you mean asax, in classic asp you just use a global.asa instead.

nope, I mean ASX.

Description:

Goal: Create a simple ASX file to play Windows Media in the external Windows Media Player.

A simple, yet effective method of playing Windows Media, is to simply reference an ASF Stream Redirector file (ASX). An ASX file is an eXtensible Markup Language (XML) based text file which references a Uniform Resource Locator (URL) for a piece of media content. Simply put, an ASX file is a shortcut to Media Content.

I still have no idea which link to look at MorningZ. Could you be a little more specific on what I need to do if you know how to do it?

and to follow up on my reply as well...

XML is a very non-specific language... like as its all different, there is specific layout....

for instance, maybe you have heard the terms "SOAP" and "RSS" which are two XML "formats" that have to be in a specific layout....

you'll need to get an example ASX file and see that it has a <thisnode> here, and a child node of <thatnode>, etc....

i hope that makes sense... but the links provided above show you how to create an XML from scratch, its your job to investigate and figure out what the XML file needs to look like to be used as a valid ASX
