Problem with strings in SQL statement

I have a problem when I want to parce a string to a SQL statement, but the string containst a ' character (single quote), and that screws up the whole code... I could try and use the Replace() function to replace the ' with an ASCII code, but then it wouldn't find the records that I need...

Can anyone help?
