Jmail problem, please help!

i get this message when i want to send email from the forum

The message was undeliverable. All servers failed to receive the message

why?? please help me!

This means either the SMTP server you entered in the admin area for the emails is incorrect or isn't presently down.

I have a similar error here now. WebWizForums V7.8 (reg.version).

JMail reports:

jmail.SMTPMail error '8000ffff'

The message was undeliverable. All servers failed to receive the message

/forum/functions/functions_send_mail.asp, line 227

But, my setup is the same as always. Nothing changed. The email-sender is correct. The smtp-server is correct. It just stopped working from today.

I've notiched a real strange thing:

The error only seems to occour when someone replies to a message using quotes. When its a new message, no problems.

The SMTP server is failing to be connected to. More than likly the SMTP server is down at the moment.
