Also is there a way of making smaller the spacing between lines when you hit return for a new line, just that you can't do a list of people cos it is all spaced out

Hold down shift when you hit enter this will decrease the line spacing.

i have just spoken with my ISP, apparently the home user package does not support ASP, i have just tried to go onto my site and now the forums have gone down.

Phoned them up and they said i will need to upgrade the package from home user to business user which supports ASP, although the forums have been working fine with ASP up unitll now...........(i think someone has diabled my site on their servers cos i am using ASP which was working fine but as i did not have the business package they have forced me to upgrade!!)

so now i have upgraded to the new package which now supports ASP, so hopefully this will fix the e-mail notifcation problem as the business package supports ASP...........how convenient eh!!!

will let you guys know if it fixes it or not, takes 24hours to replicate apparently!!
