This is really the first time that I have setup the forum and attempted to use it side by side with my site I am currently creating.

At first I was stuck trying to figure out how I would handle users, looking at the password encryption and how sessions where handled I stared to have doubts as this would add quite a few hours to my development time.

Then I came across the API feature.
This has solved all my problems and I just wanted to show my gratitude to such a good idea and perfectly implemented.  This has saved me so many hours :D

Only one problem to report is the logout variable: strMemberAPILogoutURL does not get queried and instead the default logout link is shown.

Well, thanks again guys and keep up the good work !

Glad you like the member API, the next version has a second API for more advanced users with a HTTP XML API so that you can work with Web Wiz Forums from almost any other platform which supports HTTP and XML, including PHP, ASP.NET, and even desktop software.

The logout feature of the current member API does work. The link within the forum stays pointing to the own forums logout file so that it can log the user out of the forum before redirecting to your sites own logout file. Otherwise users would not get logged out of the forum.

The new API sounds cool but I think I can have everything else sorted now with simple SQL queries.

Thanks again !
