Forums for mutiple domains

Is there a way to use the same setup for different domains.  I mean can I use the same setup for the database, but have the data specific to domains.  Like having certain forums show for certain domains only and username for specific domains only..  I really, just want to use the app as a multi-site oriented application rather that a per site entity.  Any suggesstions on this? Thanks
