"calendarbox.asp" mod needed

Ran into an issue with the following:

There's a simple trick there to display your events in a different page on your site, or a DIV on any page.
However, we suddenly found out that if there are NO future events, it errs out - giving a runtime error.
Is there a simple way to modify that code so that if there are no events to show between today and 1 year out, it simply shows "sorry, no events" or something like that - some sort of error trapping or code to prevent what we had happen - there were no events posted yet, so the file killed our home page due to the ASP error...........
