Hi Guys,

I have just moved over to using Persists ASPupload from ASPSmartUpload and am having a problem.

When I upload, if the file i am uploading already exists in the upload directory i want to overwrite it with the new one, No Hex Values, No filename(1)

It was easy moding the code for ASPSmartUpload but i am strugling with the Persists ASPupload.

This is the
RTE/functions/FunctionsUplpad.asp
file in the RTE

Any Help Please......

if the owerwrite doesnt work you can first delete existing file and save other.
 
 
for example:
if Upload.FileExists("c:\path\file.txt") Then Upload.DeleteFile "c:\path\file.txt"

I'm not sure they are free!

there was a free one but i think the people who published it have withdrawn it for some reason.

I think you can get a trial version of "AspUpload" which is the one used on this server from the adress below.
aspSmart was the free one i think
