Hello,

I was wondering if the words in the CAPTCHA image file can be changed with out messing anything up.  I seen a notice that the word must be 6 letter or less

Thanks

You can change or ad words to the CAPTCHA image file if you wish.

It means creating a Gif image then storing it in HEX format in the CAPTCHA image file.

1. Create the GIF's in Fireworks, or Photoshop etc.
2. Save the GIF file to your hard drive
3. Open the GIF in HHD Software Free HEX Editor
4. Copy and paste the HEX across to the CAPTCHA_image.asp file open in a text editor

HHD's Hex Editor can be setup to show more code on one line and also you can change it so that when copy and pasting text note to 'Copy Addresses'

hi there

i have started making new images, with digits only.
i have followed the instrcutions above, and it seems to work - but its such a long process!
1) make the images, save as gif.
2) open in HHD
3) copy code from HHD
4) paste into notepad (so that it pastes as text, and not the "hex Fragment Icon")
5) copy and then paste into Word
6) find and replaces to remove the address column and crraiage returns, and get just the code
7) paste into the image.asp file, along with the file contents.

have i missed something here? why does it seems like such a complucated thing for me?

thanks!

Imagine making 240 of them, it took me around 80 hours in all.
