Ok, so what you just said in a nutshell is what.

Don't open emails or downloads that you aren't absolutely sure of where they came from.

OR, look at the source code of the email before you "open" it.

AND turn off preview panes and other features that might open the email for you.

Don't open or install applications from unknown sources. Always scan them first.

It really is that simple and yes, I spend an average of 6 hours a night on the internet. I am building a forum. I am a member of 6 other forums where I have post counts ranging from 3800 to 12000 current posts. I also develop and manage my own website (yeah, I know, big deal). I also digitally dispatch for at least 30 towing companies across the united states using VOiP and internet technologies using home based dispatch employees from all over the world.

I am of the belief that MOST virii (that's plural for virus for you geeks) are originated by the very companies that sell you anti-virus spyware to begin with and YES, I am FAMOUS for my conspiracy theories.

I AM a freak of nature. I am 6'4". I ride Harleys, I own a tow company (yes, I actually tow cars for a living) and I have a pocket protector to keep my NUMEROUS pens from leaking all over my leathers!

All in all, I am saying one thing. There's a lot of brilliant hacks in this world that have written a lot of terrible destructive code. BUT, (and this is a big butt) NONE of them has figured out a really trick way of delivering it. It's the same as a top engineer building a super duper fighter aircraft, then not being able to fly it because he can't get it to the damned runway! Anybody with an IQ above 60 can keep crap off their machine just by following a few simple rules.

PC Magazine (pcmag.com) Just recently did their reviews and comparison tests.

Lead me not into temptation... I know the short cut, follow me.
