I've found that the image in the emails that are sent to recipients, doesn't show, even if you tell Outlook etc to download it.
I realise this is the image which records if someone has read the newletter etc, but is there anyway of using a logo, for example, instead of nothing?

There isn't as it connects to an ASP file as an image file can not update a database.
If it is failing to work make sure that you have the correct path to the NewsPad directory setup in the admin section of NewsPad.

The tracking works fine, it's just the image (or asp file), shows as the broken image icon - red X

OK no problem shopuld be able to sort that out by using a blank binary image in the ASP file and sending that to the email client.
I will make sure it's looked into and a solution found.

Brilliant, cheers Borg.
I suppose one way of doing it, would be to have the option to configure a logo at the top of the newsletter, and use that as the tracking image. That way, people are more likely to choose 'download images', than if they saw a small image at the end of the email.

The problem with that is most users will not know how to convert their image to binary format, then edit it to add in the required ASP and mime type, the save it in the correct format.

Ah right. No, I wouldn't know where to start either - except Google. lol.
Ah well, it was a good idea.
