Merging the V.8 into a website

What is the most efficient way to import the new version into a web site, so that it will be possible certain pages outside the forum, to access database, or display imges from the forum?
 
most of sites will be like this structure:
default.asp
page1.asp
page2.asp
/WWForum (directory of the forum)
 
lets say page1 will use the forum but page2 won't use it....
 
It is not a good idea to include the common.asp on the header of the site.....right?
 
Please advice...Confused
