here i am developing the one Email application to send a mail using SMTP protocol in the VB.NET with visual studio 2003 version.
 
how can i send the SMTP mail to the user.

Hi, I have previously written code to create a TELNET connection and generate the SMTP message directly onto the server handling email for the destination domain. Using this method you have complete control over the whole SMTP conversion including getting all the return codes from the remote server so you can see whether your email has failed and why in your code and make whatever decisions there and then. It's a simple process; Lookup the MX record for the destination domain, connect to the remote server, have the SMTP conversation, handle the return codes :-)
