Web Wiz have today released an early release of Web Wiz Forums version 10.10 Beta that adds a number of new features, security enhancements, and bug fixes to Web Wiz Forums.

New features and enhancements:-

Integration with StopForumSpam.com to check new registrants against their database of known spammers
New Spam Cleaner - Once stop page for removing Posts, Private Messages and Signatures of Spammers as well as suspend their account, block IP and submit to 
StopForumSpam
Native SSL Support - Built in support for SSL on Account, Admin, and Registration pages, when enabled will automatically switch to the SSL URL for sensitive pages
New Form Security to prevent automated bots while making form submission simpler
Experimental Support for new EU Cookie Directive compliance
Improvements to Search Engine detection of Active Users List
New Registration Redirect Option for websites that have their own registration pages or suspend Member Registrations
Updated New Member Admin Vetting Email to include more information and submission to StopForumSpam
Date displays updated to show number of hours and minutes in the last 24 hours
Members List now shows number of Points members have
HTTP XML API updated to version 2.0
Plus many other enhancements and bug fixes
