View Google Gadget using URL?

I have an app that allows users to view any web page within it b y pasting in an URL.   I'd like my users to be able to use Google Gadgets within this app.  But when I select the code for the gadget, I get a URL embedded in a script code which doesn't work.

Does anyone know if there's a way to use just the URL portion to view and use a gadget using JUST the URL?
