There's still an issue which is reported a few times by several users, but I cannot find a satisfying answer in their posts.
 
You can try it in your demo:
When I enter the image-browser.
I double-click the samples-directory. The path will be: /my_documents/my_pictures/samples.
I upload an image.
It will not appear in the chosen path, but it will be uploaded in /my_documents/my_pictures.
 
Will there be an option in future release to use the chosen directory as upload directory?

You can change the upload folder in the setup file.

I know that, but why can't the user choose a directory to upload?

I want to offer the enduser a way to upload in different directories.

This is done for security reasons.

There are no plans to update this feature to allow users to sllect their own path as it could be abused by a hacker.
