Any thoughts about providing support for Microsoft's Database Publishing Wizard. This is an excellent tool for publishing to remote database servers. A number of popular hosting providers are already supporting this publishing method, as it takes away some of the pain and support overhead of deploying complex database designs.

You have not said but I take it you are referring to our web hosting solutions.

For security our shared hosting database servers can not be logged into remotely, many web hosts now do this otherwise database servers come under attack with 100's of brute force hacking attempts per second.

Instead we provide database tools for both mySQL and SQL Server that allow you to easily and securely  upload database backups.

All you need to do is create a backup file (.bak) of your locally created database, then use the online tools provided to upload this to our servers.
