Wondering if anyone can help.
PRIMARY Question
We need to move our forums from for example http://www.example.com/forums - http://www.example.com/forums to http://forums.example.com - http://forums.example.com
Is it possible to do this in Global.ASA so that any sub-links people click on redirect?
Secondary Question
Our forums have been around for years, and a lot of people post links to other threads in their messages which will obviously not work. Anyway of doing that as well? OR alternatively a SQL query on posts to remove the http://www.example.com/forums/xxxxxx%28post - http://www.example.com/forums/xxxxxx(post) and replace it with http://forums.example.com/xxxxxx%28post - http://forums.example.com/xxxxxx(post)?
Any ideas?
It wasnt my choice to move it, but since we have an online store on our main domain, our PCI company didnt like the fact that you could login to forums without SSL, and wont make an exception, so I am moving out of the store domain.
