    Posted: 14 September 2010 at 3:17pm
We are have a few of our Newspad recipients that have firewalls that are blocking our Newspad emails due to Header sizes that are too large.  Those recipients do not at this time have the ability to tweak their firewall to change or modify the header size that they can receive.

We are currently forwarding the news bulletin to those recipients that cannot receive the original.

Is there anyway to limit or remove the header on the newspad emails?

Below is the header produced by our newspad:

The only header data that Web Wiz NewsPad has any control over is the subject and the 'to' and 'from' email addresses. the rest of the header information is placed in their by the email component that you use and your mail server.

To go through some of your headers:-

Received: from ihaweb ([192.168.1.6] RDNS failed) by mail.teamiha.org with Microsoft SMTPSVC(6.0.3790.4675);
 Mon, 13 Sep 2010 09:53:00 -0600
This one is from your mail server that is handling the email

These are placed in by the CDOSYS email component

X-OriginalArrivalTime: 13 Sep 2010 15:53:00.0728 (UTC) FILETIME=[BE22EB80:01CB535B]
X-TM-AS-Product-Ver: SMEX-7.5.0.1243-6.5.1024-17636.000

X-TM-AS-User-Approved-Sender: No
X-TM-AS-User-Blocked-Sender: No
These I have not seen before and look to be placed in by some whitelisting software that is being used by one of the mail servers the email passes through.

The X- part in front of an email header usually denotes that this is an extra header placed in for information purposes by one of the systems that processes the email.

Looking at the header you have the size is quite small compared to about 80% of email headers I see, so if there firewall is blocking the emails for such a small header then they must be loosing about 80% of their email.
