Hi,

I had a big trouble and need your help.

I've completed one project made by ASP.NET. It work done on my localhost but when I upload my code on the customer's ASP.NET hosting, it didn't run even the path of virtual hosting is not found. In the localhost, I solve this prob easily by run my application at IIS. At the virtual hosting, I can not do this except contact the administrator. This way seem not good . I think may be my prob is in the web.config of ASP.NET application (I'm using the default setting). But I didn't find any document.

Do you have any idea to help me? Please let me know.

Thanks forward.

Quang

Be sure to not use any local paths (http://localhost/file1.exd) and contact your administrator to ask if the directory has ASP.NET enabled, wich seems to be the problem.

That would be possible in regular asp. ASP.NET is compiled, and therefore requires some manual adjustments. Contact your administrator and ask him to enable the directory for asp.net.

Are you building with Visual Studio.NET? If so, create a new project AT the customers hosting server, and VS will set all the settings.
