I have a unique situation here, and have a couple questions about how the URL for the Quote button works.

I have integrated the forums with the articles on my website, where when people comment on an article, they are actually commenting on a thread in the forum.  

Example here and here for recipes:

Examples here and here for articles:

Notice I modified the forum as well to see if an article or recipe is associated with a topic in the forum, and link back to the article or recipe.

For the article example, the link for one of the quote buttons is:
http://www.caribbeanchoice.com/forums/new_reply_form.asp?M=Q&PID=522882&PN=1&TR=1

In the latest version of the forum, what items can I omit?  For example, I will not know what page number the post is on, since I am not coming from the forum page.  The PID is obviously needed as well as the M=Q part.  Also is TR=1 needed?

All you would need is the PID number of the post you are replying to.
