	how can one create a tag that enables content drawn from wikipedia? like if i type this he is at<wiki>USNMC</wiki> minding his own business in such case the word USNMC will be highlighted and automatically get linked to the wikipedia article about USNMC... possible?

	Sure, I think it's possible... I would start in the bad word filter routines and add your custom replace based on the condition. It would take a good amount of tweaking but it is possible. Basically If in string "<wiki>" then replace the tag with the link using the content between the tag.
