I have successfully installed and setup a forum but couldn't use it coz everytime I login either as admin or any other username it always welcomes as Guest. It throws out this message "You must be a registered user in order to be able to use this forum".

I have spent lot of time trying to sort this out .... but without success...Can anyone please help me on this...

The config of my system is...

Web Wiz forum version 6.34
Using IIS 5.1 running on XP
IE 6.0
SQLServer 2000

IE 6 has some big issues with cookies unless you connect directly to your site, this means that you can't use URL masking, domain masking, IP masking, redirection, frames, etc.

This problem will effect all cookies on your site, Netscape and other browsers arn't effected, it's only IE 5 +

Great thanks for the reply...

But i am confused about "connect directly to your site".. what is that mean? Is the forum can't be a part of website...so what is the solution.

It's as I said, you can't use frames, domain  name masking, IP masking, etc.
