My ISP said to check with you to see if webwiz forums will work with a linyx system that accepts .asp scripts. I guess my question is: Does webwiz only work on a windows format? I keep telling them that webwiz claims that they do not work on linyx. They said on a normal system that might be true but to ask if webwiz will work with a system that has been modified to accept .asp scripts.
Please explain this to me so that I can either use this ISP or change to a windows based system.
My entire database is from the old webwiz 7 series. I have updated the database to 8.5a
Is it possible to change it to mySQL now or is it still next to impossible.
I know that somewhere here on the forum someone claims to have done it but I have an entire webdesign company working on it and they say it can't be done. Sorry for the long winded question but I don't really know how to ask the question.
Please help as my options are becoming limited with mySQL or a windows server!
