I decided to make my own website and to all those who might help me I have several questions. I have frontpage to make the website. When I try to view my new webpage I can't get to it. Its an ftp website , this is what my  isp provider gave to me. What should I do to make my web site viewable?

If you design your webpage in Frontpage, make sure that your ISP offers Front Page extensions. Frontpage tends to put code in there that can only be interpreted with FP extensions. There is a setting to turn that off in FP then you can use FTP, give some more info on what you are actually doing....

if your ISP doesn't support frontpage extensions .. then there is a software called shrinkhtml which has the option to remove FP tags for ya .. try doing that one sample page and see if works or not

yeah shrinkhtml worked fine for me the few times i actually had to use this. but i'm not really a fan of front page. you might want to just look at the source code of the files you build with front page to see how you can code the HTML manually. good luck!!!!!

I had found this thing called Site Lite. It might be helpful to building your website. http://www.ia.hiof.no/~borres/sitelite/ver30/index.shtml
