I am using the Access Version. Is there a way of making specific fields in the registration process compulsory - I am looking at the DOB field and the Interest Field (which I have changed into another field name.
Thanks

I'd like to do the same. Specifically, I want Gender, Location, and Date of Birth to be required fields. Is there a way to do this?

There is always a way, but you have to code it yourself.
You have to edit the database and register.asp to add new fields.

This has already been added to version 10, which is under development, where you can specify which fields you want as mandatory.

Can you give a ballpark estimate of when version 10 will be available?

That is a difficult question as have a heavy workload and when lots of support questions come in all development has to stop while these are being answered.
There is also allot being added to version 10 including blogging tools, gallery, and many other new features which take allot of development time.
A full non beta release should be out before the end of the year.

I was needing to require some additional info at registration as well. I'm running 9.56 SQL version. I would even be willing to pay someone to do the coding for this issue. If anyone is interested, please contact me via PM.
Thanks,
Eric
