In the Text Editor Pop-up (when you want to add an image)... on the left is a list of file names that have been uploaded in the past. This list is getting rather long, how can I delete the items from this list?

You would need to delete the files from the upload folder on the server.

In the image popup box (the Image Properties Box)... the box with all the file names is not pulling  a list from the uploads folder... it is pulling a list of all files I uploaded (but not all the files everyone has uploaded to the server, so not a complete list from the uploads folder)... thus deleting them from the uploads folder does not delete them from this list.

any other suggestions on how to delete items in this list?

It sounds like a settings issue and the file browser is not looking at the upload folder where it should be looking.
