just ound out that banner adds on website waste out a lot of bandwidth.. especialy if u r on an ISDn or VSAT and r charged according to bandwidth useage.. then these worthless banner add on whome u may not even give a look will waste a lot of ur band width..

im looking for a small software which i can use to specify a list of blocked url's so stupid banner add's from those links will no more be loaed..this way bandwidth can be saved.. i know this can be done via the proxy software on the server but i want a small utility which i can use on a stand alone desktop pc without wasting much memory.. as well im looking for a list o baner add servers too.. any idea.. sugesstions, help. post 'em...

some sites are dependend on banner ads so I don't think it's fair blocking them unless they are taking over the site. If a site bothers you, just don't go there.

who cares...anyway...secondly there no banner ad dependent website which i visit regularly.. and even if some website is banner add dependent.. i dont care.. thats just a form of spam...
