i am saving the data from the RTE to database. If I use apostrophe (') or (&) ampersand, i got page not found error. Any idea??? why and how can I solve this is issue.

Are you sure this is a page not found error and not a 500 internal server error?

HTTP 500 - Internal server error
Any idea y?

If you turn off friendly HTTP errors in IE you will get a more accurate error message telling what the problem is.

But my guess is that you have written your own code to place the data into a database and you haven't parsed the data to make it SQL safe.

Quotes need to be escaped by replacing them with double quotes, or using &quote; if not the SQL to enter the data into the database will be malformed.
