Please take a look at the final shape at http://www.cbtcafe.com/fireworks/roundedshapecorners/index.h tml. I have already created a rounded corner similiar to this one. However, I'd like to know how I can add drop shadow to the right side only. When I add drop shadow to it, it also shows up on the bottom of the rectangle. I only want the drop shadow to be on the right side. Can someone please tell me how I can accomplish this?

Don't know about Fireworks, but most drop shadow routines allow you to specify the amount of drop vertically and horizontally. Set the vertical to 0 and the horizontal to whatever.

There's no option for horizontal or vertical in drop shadow. Let me list the options that are available in drop shadow: Distance, Opacity, Softness, and Angle. Can someone please help me to figure out how to apply a drop shadow to the right side only?

Did you try an angle of 90 degrees?

I had to try different angles. Thank you for giving me this idea about angles!

Drop shadow? Why dont you create the thing twice and set the opacity to 50% or black or something?
