I have a very simple asp page, which lists the top 3 records by id on a page. Each record contains 3 field: Title, date and summary. I know how to show the records in a table with alternately colored rows, but how do I make only the first record show up it's Title field in a specific color or font??

All the records and fields are displayed in 12px in black. The first record's title field should be displayed in 14px in red. How do I do that??

you can try something like this

counter=1
Do While Not rsCommon.EOF

If counter=1 Then
Response.Write("<h3>" & rsCommon("fields") & "</h3>")
Else
Response.Write("<h6>" & rsCommon("fields") & "</h6>")
End If

counter=counter+1         

Loop
