User-definable fields in forum

What I would find helpful (and I'm guessing a fair few others too) would be a few administrator-defined fields in the user profiles in the forum.

Not many of my users use ICQ, AIM, MSN etc (but a few do and have put in this information), however a lot of them are in teams and would like to include this information in their profile.

Yes I could add this in myself, with enough work, but it would make future upgrades more difficult.

The idea would be a few (two? three?) additional columns in tblAuthor, eg, "Custom1", "Custom2", etc.

The administrator would then be able to define the name (ie, purpose) displayed against this information, eg, mapping "Custom1" to "Team", "Custom2" to "Favorite Ice Cream Flavour", etc, so these were the options presented when users viewed and ammended profiles. The Admin could also define a maximum input string length for each of these, in much the same way we can currently define maximum signature length.
