I've been trying to setup a MySQL database using a asp.net script, but when I excute it I get an error saying:

Quote Not Found

The requested document was not found on this server.

the page which it tries to redirect to DOES exist!

The .NET framework is installed on the server
The ODBC .Net data provider is installed on the server
The MySQL ODBC Driver-MyODBC 3.51 is installed on the server

The permissions are all properly setup for Network Services on:
C:\Windows\Temp
C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.0.3705
C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.1.4322
C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727

Anyone has an idea?

You may have to show some code to see what you are doing...

Hello Michael,

I was actually hoping that you would take a look at this issue Big%20smile

Earlier today I researched it further, to get the actual error message I went into web.config and changed the "RemoteOnly" to "Off" and retried excuting the script, and I got the actual error message. It is a problem with MySQL not accepting the credentials I provided... I don't know why... I'm 100% sure that the login info I provided are all correct.

I'm at work now I don't have the detailed error on me...

So the problem now is getting MySQL to work... It works on other scripts, and to confirm i downloaded the mysql version of Web Wiz NewsPad... and I was able to set it up using MySQL on that same server. I will reinstall MySQL tonight and see if I can get it to work using the root login.

Problem solved... was a permission issue. I reinstalled MySQL and used the command line to create the db, added user, and granted all priviliges to it... and the script ran just fine.
