Hi all,
I have read and understood the possible security implications of allowing an RSS feed from a forum requiring a login.
Can anyone please advise which file I can edit to allow this, please as I have one forum only that I would like to make into a feed.
Many thanks in advance.
regards
suede

Maybe I should rephrase the question:
Has any hints on how get an rss feed from one forum only when it has admin permissions and no guest access.
thanks in advance

The only way to do this would be to switch from Admin only to guest access. This is essentialy what you'd be doing by having an RSS feed available anyway.

Hi all,
I got this working by modifying permissions.
Strangely, I am receiving the following error intermittently when I run the modified RSS_Topic_Feed.asp. Once yesterday, and just now.
ADODB.Recordset error '800a0bb9'
Arguments are of the wrong type, are out of acceptable range, or are in conflict with one another.
/forum/functions/functions_date_time_format.asp, line 34
The following is line 34:
'Query the database
rsDateTimeFormat.Open strSQL, adoCon
What could this mean?
regards
suede
