When a new person registers on the forum they receive an email stating that they completed registration and activation will follow(or to that effect).
I believe I looked in every page of the admin panel to no avail.
Where do I go to change the text body of this email?
Is it also possible to have an email go out once they have been approved?

If email activation is enabled they should only receive one email to activate their account, another is sent welcoming them after they activate their account.

The text for these emails is found in the language files in the language_files folder.

Could you be more specific? What is the name of the file in that folder? I'd also like to change the text in that email. Cheers

It would be in the 'language_file_inc.asp' file.

The email would be constructed from a number of lines within the file as it is designed to allow people to translate the forum rather than changing the text within emails that are sent out.

The text in the emails should really be within the admin area and will look at moving it there in future versions.

Hi Bruce, thanks so much, I see it now. However, I'm sorry, I now realise that I confused the forum activation system with my own previous website email newsletter that I had set up with a great follow-up welcome email. Never mind, but yes it would be fantastic if I could easily add some information to the forum's new registration email. Could I please request that it includes the ability to insert web links. Looking forward to it. Cheers.
