I am part of a club that wants to distribute video content of club activities for a year. This would entail nearly 100 clips, ranging in length from 10mins to an hour. We want only authorised personal to gain access them.

I was thinking of hosting them on a web server somewhere and upload and download them from there but the bandwidth cost may be very large.

Has anyone got any ideas how i could do such or is there any service/company out there for doing this, distributing video content?

But you might want to check out some services for 'video podcasts'. They might have something reasonable available.

heard of bit torrent..it supports authentication too
